Ministries for Children & Youth
Acolytes
By assisting the priest during Sunday worship, the acolytes serve in an important ministry. Training is offered as needed. Any child fourth grade and up can become an acolyte. Contact the church office to discuss your child joining this ministry.
Christian Education
Children’s Sunday School is offered on First and Third Sundays at 9:15 a.m. in the Children’s Sunday School Room. We meet together to read Bible Stories, learn about our life together in the Church, play Legos, and more. All school-age children are invited to participate.
Junior Daughters of the King
Girls aged 7 - 21 years old get together monthly to pray, do service projects and find ways to serve God. They show their love of God through prayer and service projects. They collect food to place in "Bags of Grace" to hand out to homeless people on the streets of large cities and they collect and wrap toiletry items for seafarers who come to the Port of Houston during the Christmas season. And they have fun too by organizing a tea for the ladies of the church where all get to dress up in hats and gloves.
Nursery
Nursery care for babies, toddlers, and preschool children is also offered Sunday from 9:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m.
